I can’t believe Molly is 8 months already!  Wow how time flies… it seams I just did her newborn portraits and her 4 month old portraits!  Molly came to The Studio in Grandville for her 8 month old portraits a few weeks ago.  Here are some favorites!

Our Christmas Card mini Sessions were a huge hit!  Jayne held a Christmas mini session at the Studio in Grandville.  Jayne did a great job capturing Christmas portraits for our clients for their Christmas cards!  I didn’t want to post this earlier, because I didn’t want to spoil anyone’s christmas surprise… so now that Christmas is over, here they are!

Kelsey had her senior portraits done this fall at The Studio in Grandville, and outdoors at a barn.  She was originally scheduled on one of our rainy fall days, so we ended up rescheduling on a better day.  We got her session done just in time before the weather turned for the winter!  Thanks for coming Kelsey!

This little sweetie came to The Studio in Grandville for newborn portraits!  I just love photographing newborns, and Kate made my job easy!  She was so sleepy, that she behaved so well!  Congratulations!

Last night we had our awards Banquet Christmas Party for the “Professional Photographers of Western Michigan.”  At the awards banquet, we award the top 10 photographers, and photographer of the year.  The way the photographers earn the award, is an accumulation of points that are earned  from print competition, album competition, and attendance to programs.  I am very pleased and honored to say that I was awarded the top award, Photographer of the Year 2009!  Congratulations to all my colleagues who also came in the top 10!

This little guy came in to The Studio in Grandville  for his Christmas portraits!  What a cutie!  I love his expression here!

This little newborn sweetie was welcomed into the world in November, and what a better way to be welcomed than a newborn session!  I just recently added a few new blankets and hats to my collection, so I had to try them out on this little one!

Katelynn came to The Studio in Grandville for her Senior session!  We had a great time, but I am still wondering about the faces that she was making behind my back!  (Every time I would turn around her and her mother would burst out laughing over a face she was making!)  As soon as I took this portrait of Katelynn in the chair, her mother exclaimed… “Oh, that is SO HER!”  I love it when I can capture a little bit of who my clients are!

We had a rainy fall in Grand Rapids this year, but we were still able to do some fall family portraits in-between the rain!  The Werkema family squeezed in on a beautiful fall day!  The kids were so good, and they loved playing in the leaves!
