A few weeks ago Sharon called me and told me she was having another baby!  I have photographed her son Parker for about a year and a half now… and I can’t wait to meet the new little addition to the family!  So, Sharon and the family came in for maternity portraits, as well as Parker’s two year old portraits.  We had a blast playing with cars trying to get Parker to smile, and spending a while trying to get Parker to “kiss the baby”!  Thanks for letting me share in this time of your life!

Kelly came in to The Studio in Grandville for a maternity session a few weeks ago.  She already has two boys, and she is now waiting for this new little baby girl to make her grand entrance!  Kelly looked absolutely beautiful and a “mama to be!”  This is a beautiful celebration of life.  Thank you Kelly for letting me capture this celebration of the little life inside of you!  Hopefully that baby girl will be here soon!

Richard and Gretchen came and saw me last week.  I am SO glad that we were able to get this session in.  We had the session scheduled, and then Gretchen ended up in the hospital with early labor the night before the session was supposed to take place.  Luckily, she was able to come home, and we were still able to do the session!  Gretchen and Richard are having twins, and those babies needed to bake a little longer!

Thanks Richard and Gretchen!  I can’t wait to see those little babies!

Jeff and Anita!

October 13, 2008

Jeff and Anita will be welcoming their third child into this world in November. So, they decided to celebrate this time of new life by having some maternity portraits done! I love to show the relationship of this happy time with the family. Everyone is eagerly anticipating this time…. I asked Anneke and Adam if they wanted a brother or a sister…. Anneke wanted a sister, and Adam wanted a brother. (Although Anita said that he wanted a sister a couple hours earlier!)

Thank you Jeff and Anita!

Baby on the way!

One of my best friends is having a baby… Shelly was the maid of honor in my wedding. I am so excited for her! Her and her husband Terry came for a maternity session a couple days ago. She has already seen her proofs, and this one was a favorite of everybody! And a couple more….

I just got a new air purifier from Shelly this week too, and I LOVE it! What I love about it is that it kills a lot of bacteria, like e coli, streptococcus and stuff like that. It also helps with allergies. This is what I got. If you are interested in finding out more info on this, let me know and I’ll hook you up with my friend Shelly.

Kyle and Michelle

This week I did Kyle and Michelle’s maternity portraits. I am sooooooo indebted to Kyle… he fixed my computer last summer when it crashed. So, we worked out a trade for their maternity and newborn portraits. I can’t wait to see the baby! Here are some of my favorites from the maternity session:

Last week I did Lori’s maternity pictures. Her two boys came along and we did some with them too. Owen didn’t really want to get his picture taken, but we did get some anyway. Nathan showed me his muscle man pose, even if it was supposed to be a maternity session!
